UNDER-STAFFING HAS BEEN LINKED TO HEALTH AND SAFETY VIOLATIONS AND HAS BEEN DETERMINED TO CAUSE PATIENT INJURY AND DIGNITY VIOLATIONS ACCORDING TO NUMEROUS SCIENTIFIC STUDIES.

Under-staffing has been determined to cause patient injury and dignity violations according to numerous scientific studies.  (Click here to read some of these studies).

Based on the Medicare Cost reports from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2016, THE FORUM AT BROOKSIDE reported spending an average of only $0.70 per resident per day on nursing care.  This mere $0.70 a day for each resident spent on registered nurses, licensed practice nurses, and certified nurses aides is the lowest average daily nursing cost per residents of all Kentucky nursing homes for comparable time cost report periods.

Keeping the cost of staffing as low as possible increases profits at THE FORUM AT BROOKSIDE result in significant financial rewards.  Based on the Medicare Cost reports from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2016, THE FORUM AT BROOKSIDE generated total annual gross revenues of $102,591,484.  In 2016, alone, THE FORUM AT BROOKSIDE reported $17,299,556 of gross patient revenue.
