Every month from April 2016 to December 2017, Pruitthealth-Lilburn received a 1-star out of 5 from CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), the lowest Overall rating possible for a nursing home.
Every month from April 2016 to December 2017, Pruitthealth-Lilburn received a 1-star out of 5 from CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), the lowest Health Inspection rating possible for a nursing home.
Furthermore, on October 27, 2016, Pruitthealth-Lilburn was cited for failing to investigate alleged abuse of two residents, one of whom had an acute fracture of the tibia and fibula.

The Institute of Medicine and the American Nurses Association have concluded that each nursing home resident needs a minimum of 2.8 hours of CNA care per day for safety and basic services. But Pruitthealth-Lilburn averaged only 1.99 hours of CNA care per resident per day from January 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017, based on its daily payroll staffing records.
These low staffing levels significantly reduced Pruitthealth-Lilburn’s labor costs.
